Reconnecting Roots "Space" - Behind-the-Scenes

While I was on set directing scenes for the “Space” episode of Reconnecting Roots, I couldn’t help but bring some film cameras to snap behind-the-scenes shots. Is it a little cumbersome to lug a camera around while directing and setting up scenes? Sure! Is it worth it? Absolutely.

This first batch was shot on a Canon FTb with Lomography Lomochrome Metropolis (35mm)

I also busted out my trusty Diana F+ toy camera, which is the one that got me started on film photography in the first place. This time, I went with good old Kodak Portra 400 (120)
