Hey everyone! For over the past year, I’ve been hard at work on a TV series called “Reconnecting Roots”. It’s a documentary series about the past, present, and future of American progress.
And now I can finally announce that “Reconnecting Roots” will be playing on PBS this summer!
I can’t tell you how excited I am for the audience to see this TV series. This was a new and very interesting challenge for me; although I had done some documentary-type work in the past, I had never written for a TV series before (I co-wrote 5 of the 7 episodes for season one). Beside being a docu-series, there is a lot of history involved, which meant I had to do far more research for this compared to any of my previous projects. Accuracy is a big deal and we wanted to make extra sure we got it right. (I also did a lot of editing and animation for this show).
So what will we be covering in season one? We have episodes about the American school system, bicycles, farming, technology and more.
