It’s been a good minute since I’ve posted some new photography to the site. Although filmmaking takes up the bulk of my time, I still try to get out with my camera whenever I can!
I’m calling this series Wasted Memories, due to the fact that many of these photos were taken on forgotten rolls of film that, quite honestly, I’m not even sure where they came from. Many of these have a hazy quality to them and remind me of moments in life that are forgotten, but never truly gone. For me, photography can be a tool used to depict the here and the now, or expose you to something you have never seen before (like many great photojournalists do). I think it can also be used as a tool to grab a piece of time that, due to the nature of life, will ultimately be forgotten by all. I think this series fits more with the latter. I hope you enjoy them!
